Free audio to text converter — transcribe online
Upload a recording, get the text. A voice memo, a lecture, an interview, a message from a messenger. Transcription runs on our own hardware: the file is not handed to a third-party cloud and is deleted once it has been processed.
How to convert audio to text
- Choose the language of the recording and upload the file — by button or by dragging it in.
- Tick the consent box. The file goes to our own recognition farm.
- Wait for the result: progress is shown on the page, you can leave the tab open.
- Edit the text in the field, improve it with AI, then copy it or download a .txt.
What people usually transcribe
Voice memos, lectures and webinars, interviews and podcasts, voice messages from Telegram or WhatsApp, stand-ups, audio notes. If the recording does not exist yet and you simply need to get words down, it is faster to dictate by voice — there the text appears as you speak.
How this differs from other converters
There are plenty of “audio to text” services, and almost all of them run on foreign clouds. For a personal note that does not matter; for a work recording it does.
| What matters | Our transcription | Typical online converter |
|---|---|---|
| Where the recording is processed | Our own farm, on servers in Russia | A third-party cloud |
| Sign-up | Not required | Often an account and email confirmation |
| Price | Free | Free minutes, then a subscription |
| What happens to the file | Audio and result deleted after processing | Stored in your account, terms vary |
| Tidying the text up | AI clean-up right on the page | Usually a raw transcript |
| Speaker separation | In the paid service | Sometimes, on paid plans |
Many recordings, and they are work?
Transcribing one file is easy. When there are dozens a day — sales calls, meetings, stand-ups — you need a process: automatic transcription with speaker separation, speech analytics, summaries and export to your CRM. That is our paid service, and it runs on our own hardware.
